  2. Progressive: after half a box, Q-Q-S forward,  Q-Q-S forward, (always in pairs), Q-Q-S backwards, Q-Q-S backwards.  (You can stop after the 2 forwards if you just want to go to another spot on the dance floor.)

  3. Natural turn

    1. 3 count: starting after half box

    2. 6 count: starting before box

  4. Offset breaks: instead of moving left leg forward, move it front across to the right, as you put lady in promenade position.  (Lady goes back as usual, but in promenade position.)  Face each other with feet together, then to the other side

  5. Cross-overs (New Yorkers): 1 hand hold, starting after half box, put right leg to the right instead of back.  Drop right hand.  Push left hand together with lady's to the right, as you move left foot to the right.  Come back facing each other (slow), Drop left hand, same to the left.

    To finish:

    1. lady natural turn

    2. symmetrical spin

  6. Fifth position breaks: left foot goes behind right on the quick, rock, together on the slow.  Same to the other side.

    Variations:

    2. put hand on the close side on back

Chases: from progressives, let go of hands, Man left foot forward on quick, spins 180 on 2nd quick, puts feet together on slow.  Right forward on quick, spins 180 on 2nd quick, puts feet together on slow.  Lady does the same, one Q-Q-S after.  To get together, man walks in place until the lady turns.

  9. Peek-a-boo: start cross over, switch hands (left one on top), man goes behind lady while holding both hands, goes to one side (one arm up, the other down: the lady rocks back on the foot where the man has his hand down).  Do an even number of times.  To finish, man brings left hand behind neck and lets go of hand, the same with the right hand.

  10. Triple underarm turn: half box, lady turns. Man steps back two steps, as he unwinds the lady (reverse turn).  Out of the turn, go into open breaks (right, left - New Yorkers). To get out, lady does reverse turn on 3rd.

  2. Paseo

  3. Forward Rocks

  4. Promenade swivels
